All of Valérie's V's a gathering of flowers
29. what’s in a word
**It made femininity feel even more beautiful to me.**
I was surprised that the workshop resonated with me so deeply. It wasn't just a cute and childish experience; it was beautiful, interesting, and moving. Valérie's personality, the story behind her project, and her passion for it all contributed greatly to that.It was a wonderful opportunity to get to know myself physically and in a different way. I had never thought of my vulva in this way. That is to say, more in its very beauty, what it is, than its usefulness, if I can put it that way, or its attractiveness to others.
Actually, I'd never really thought about my vulva. I never used that term; I just talked about my genitals.
I'd like to end on the topic of celebrating women's vulvazs and their sexuality, which has been ignored for far too long.

OVER THE NEXT FIVE WEEKS, I'll be rolling out the rest of our work as "pages" to present a complete documentary to you. This means more of Valérie's interview, photographs, soundbites and the thoughts of women who've experienced the vulva casting ritual.
An EPILOGUE will follow at the peak of summer with Valérie's group work, the new direction her art is taking and where these ideas are being cast into the future.
